Johnny Ciao will be appearing on WZLX at 8:45 AM on Wednesday July 9th to promote his new show "Culinary Encounters", as well as his upcoming New England appearances including filming Ernie and the Automatics during the Rock and Blues Cruise on July 11th leaving from Long Wharf (next to the aquarium, Legal Seafood, The Marriott). Ernie and the Automatics' new CD, appropriately entitled, "Low Expectations", will be out this fall on Vagrant Records. Johnny and the entire Band will be cooking up Lobster Cakes on the ship prior to its departure, which will air later on in the year on NECN.

Johnny will also film the wild and crazy morning duo Carlson and McKenzie (WZLX), while he cooks up some food for them in the studio on the morning of July 9th, as well as a Hot Rod Charity Event benefiting the New England Food Bank at Interstate Auto in Salem, N.H. on July 16th. Culinary Encounters with Johnny Ciao takes viewers on a journey throughout the world creating foods, visiting music stars and other personalities/characters, festivals, events and more. It will debut on the NECN Network on Saturday October 4th at 4:30 PM. It combines the elements of travel, food and music into a 30 minute program you won't want to miss!
